On Sunday 4th September a special Mass will be celebrated at 2p.m. in St. David’s Church, Johnstown to mark the 50th anniversary of the Church. There will be a reception afterwards in the church grounds. All are most welcome.
Please note there not be 10am. Mass on the 4th. Sunday Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Donal Roche at 2.00 p.m.
The first ‘Road Run’ in aid of St. David’s Church, Johnstown took place on Sunday 7th August. Not only were we blessed with the weather on the day, the support of the local community was brilliant.
The organising committee would like to extend their thanks to all who contributed in any way to this event. A special mention must be given to the Merrigan family who gave the use of their field for the day and to Damien Keane & Bianca Divito who kindly allowed us plug into the Old School House to keep the kettle boiling!
On Thursday 21st July, the invaluable contributions by parish volunteers was acknowledged and celebrated with Mass at 3p.m. followed by a garden party.
