Prayer for Peace

July 3rd, 2022

Peace Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen.

St. David’s – Celebrating 50 Years

July 2nd, 2022

FAMILY MASS: The next Family Mass will be celebrated at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday 17th July in St. David’s  – looking forward to seeing you all there.

On Sunday (19th June 2022)  we celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi at St. David’s with Family Mass followed by a Procession around the church grounds.  It was wonderful to see so many there, especially the children who made their First Holy Communion this year and last.   Afterwards, there was a great sense of community as everyone had a chat over a cuppa outside.  Sincere thanks to all who helped in any way on the day.

Prayer for Today

May 22nd, 2022

Lord give me time to sit and think,

To reflect on all you do for me.

To recall all the love you have shown me.

Time to remember

That I am always in your heart.

Always close to you.

Give me the grace always

To be able to give you time

To speak to my heart.

Help me, Lord, to carry my cross.
